1. Basic premise

The Japan Coast Guard (hereinafter referred to as “JCG”), collects necessary information from those using the Coast Guard Global Summit (hereinafter referred to as “CGGS”) website  for the purpose of the smooth operation of the services (such as information provision) provided by the website. Information acquired will be handled appropriately within the scope of the purposes of use.

2. Scope of information acquisition

(1) The website automatically collects and stores Internet domain names, IP addresses, information about access to the website (i.e., the date and time you access the Site and the pages you visit) etc. as an access log.

In addition, we may outsource the analysis of access to our website and opinions received to outside parties as deemed necessary for business purposes, but in such cases, the outsourcing company will take the necessary measures to appropriately manage the information collected.

6. Disclosure of personal information

(1) For inquiries by e-mail, we do not collect names, birth dates or other information which can identify individuals on the website. Therefore, we do not respond to requests for disclosure of personal information by the users of mail services.

(2) In the member registration, the information of those whose registration has not been approved will be deleted immediately, so we will not be able to respond to the disclosure of the information.

7. Scope of application
